New mobile interface for AceProject

AceProject is the latest cloud app to receive a makeover this year. In this instance, the new look applies only to the mobile version. The improved layout is heavily inspired by iPad apps, particularly the official Twitter app and the Facebook app. A smoother, cleaner interface is divided into various menus, and there’s a familiar-looking left hand sidebar which can be collapsed and expanded at will.

The new look is available now for mobile users on smartphones and tablet devices. Specially-designed iPhone and iPad apps will follow, although the functionality is expected to be basically the same.

Zoho launch Zoho Sync

Zoho have also announced developments for mobile users. Their new push service allows smartphone and tablet users of Soho Mail to receive alerts from Zoho, rather than having to initiate a manual check for updates. It requires Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync support, which won’t be a problem for mobile users with up-to-date devices.

Zoho admit there are still bugs in Android, but the iOS and Windows Mobile versions appear to be good to go.

amoCRM announce MailChimp integration

In a typically understated blog post last week, the amoCRM team announced that MailChimp integration is now live. Users can now send mail directly from the amoCRM sales management interface to one or more MailChimp mailing lists. MailChimp offer a range of paid services, but the most basic plan is free and will suit most small businesses – at least for the first few weeks of testing.
