AceProjects introduce recurring tasks feature

The AceProject team have added a new feature to their project management software – recurring tasks. This feature allows users to schedule the auto-generation of periodic tasks within a project. It’s useful tool which will help reduce the amount of copying and pasting that users needed to perform when planning their work schedule. Tasks can be set to recur on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis. The use of the feature is restricted to project managers and administrators.

RightSignature announce integration with OfficeDrop

RightSignature have announced another new integration, this time with the OfficeDrop cloud storage provider. OfficeDrop is unique in the cloud storage industry for allowing users to scan their paper based documents directly to the cloud – a handy tool. The OfficeDrop scanning software allows users to import documents using their office scanner or smartphone and save them in OfficeDrop for remote retrieval. The scanned documents are also searchable, and character recognition gives users the ability to search for text within the documents, much like Evernote. The new integration with RightSignature also allows users to access their documents from within RightSignature and send them to third parties for signing.

FreshBooks add PDFs as expense receipts

FreshBooks have updated their list of file formats to include PDFs when users are uploading their expense receipts. This allows users to take PDF receipts from emails or scan their receipts and attach them to an expense in Freshbooks. Files are restricted to 2MB in size but all non-password protected PDF versions are supported .
