Project Planning with Huddle
Benjamin Franklin once said that failing to prepare basically means that you’re preparing to fail. The whole concept of project management is to plan, prepare and manage a project. Depending on the size of the project, this could be easier said than done.
A project manager needs to decide who does what and when they should be finished. Keeping track of this could be a daunting and time consuming job if you do not have a proper system. Once a project has been set up, it is essential for the relevant parties to stay in touch in order to ensure that the project stays on track.
According to a recent blog, even the President of the Association of Project Management (APM) emphasizes the importance of collaboration in the workplace, which today does not necessarily refer to people working under the same roof.
Huddle offers the perfect solution to combat this potential communication and admin nightmare. By providing a safe and secure online workspace, all the parties involved in a project can easily communicate with each other by adding files or comments. The use of Huddle helps keep everything regarding a project in one place. A project manager can easily reassign tasks whenever required to stay on top of deadlines without wasting time chasing the task managers. Huddle even reminds the relevant parties of deadlines and one can notify people of comments added, all ensuring that a project develops as smoothly as possible.
